Here is great friend of mine Billy out for a days trolling on Loch Lomond searching for a salmon, It can be a great day out when you have someone that now's the loch well with such a big loch like this ?

Dalmarnock Beat River Tay

Here is the tail of the Dalmarnock Bank pool its a great bit to have a cast here in any height of water from the last croy right down to the tail you often see fish tight in to th bank so its worth while keeping back from the river, It then flows into Willie's hole then into the Steps pool this is one of my favourite pools in medium to low water for the fly its only a short pool but well worth a few run down's with the fly or spinner !!

Dalmarnock Bank Pool

Here is the lovely Dalmarnock Bank Pool on the river Tay looking Braw! Its a dream to fish the fly down through this pool, and with every step and cast down the pool you are waiting for a strong take from a big salmon ???

Here is Matthew playing his first Pike on Loch Lomond, the pike took a float fished roach bait in Rossdhu Bay wich is one of my favourite bays on the loch it has every thing you need for the pike, deep water coming in to the shallows, a small islands with some cracking weed beds where you always see pike taking bait fish !!!!!!

You just never now what you could hook on Loch Lomond when you are out fishing, we were out trying some dead baits hopeing to catch some pike when this nice pearch took the float fished roach bait ?????

5lb Grilse River Leven

Here is Jack Fergusen with a cracking 5lb sea liced Grilse caught on the River Leven on a Flying C. I have fished this river since I was a boy, I have had some great catches done here from a 14lb Sea Trout on the fly and Salmon to 21lb, right now it is fishing quite well with some Grilse and Sea trout about and is well worth a cast with a spinner or the fly !!!

Here is the new owner of the Dalguise beat Donald playing one of his first salmon from the beat, we were out for a days harling on the Tay and hooked three fish two landed this one took a salmo in the bridge pool and put up a great fight, Ijust love to be out harling when ther is good water !!!!

Here is the cracking Bridge Pool on the Dalguise beat on the river tay, with some extra water now that we had some rain, In this hight of water the tail of the pool is lovely to fish, you are just waiting for a run of salmon to come through the tail of the pool and to rest up after coming through the Island, over the years I have done really well here, Its a delight to be out harling on this beat in this hight of water !!!!

Here is a nice Brown Trout that I caught the other day while I was trying to catch a salmon. Its amazing at times how the trout will chase a big toby or flying C, the trout I have caught on this river have always had lovely markings !!!

The lovely Bridge pool on the Dalguise beat on the river Tay, this pool at times can hold a lot of salmon in it.Towards the back end of the season there is always some big fish in this pool most seasons I have seen fish in here that would be around the 30lb mark and bigger.
