Another good day on the Dunkeld House beat on Saturday with 2 lovely salmon landed the first one was caught in the Lady pool within 30 seconds of starting it was 12lb . Our second fish was caught just before lunch time in the Mouse Trap pool it was 7lb. We also lost a good fish after a good fight in the Girnal . But a good week with 7 salmon landed  this week and 3 lost

Well it was one of those afternoons in 45 mins all 3 fish were landed in the Cathedral stream on the Dunkeld House beat river Tay . 6lb 8lb & 11 lb

Brown Trout

A lot of people put the blame on comorants and goosanders to the lack of salmon parr in the river but these large trout in the tay probably do more damage to the parr and smolts. This trout was only four & half pounds but it had 5 parr inside it .
