The Lady Pool
The Lady pool at Dunkeld, this pool is right in front of the hut. In low water this pool is really nice to fish the fly through it, no need to wade deep mid thigh at the very most. There is a blue pipe that comes in at the wall when your in that area with your fly swing round that is the place you really wait for that take. Then down towards the wires is another good place to take a salmon on the fly.
River Tay Fishing Huts
Most of the tay beats have really good huts on them, But ours at Dunkeld just feel like a wee home. Having a nice warm hut early spring time is a must. The days can be short and cold at times so you need that wee retreat to warm up at lunch time.

Salmon Fishing River Tay
The Mouse trap on the Dunkeld House Beat river Tay . With depths of 28 ft this pool offers safety and shade in lower water. Spinning with a salmo in here can offer the best chance of a fish if you are willing to explore the depths in here.

Dunkeld House Beat
The Girnal on the bottom half of the beat, this area is well worth some attention with the spinner. In big water they can be just at your feet, in lower water you often see some big fish mid stream. But make sure you cover the far bank right in at the tree line.

Spring Salmon Fishing River Tay
Looking down stream from the chestnut tree pool on the Dunkeld House Beat. This bottom half of the beat has to be one of the best spring lies on the middle tay. With the deep slow water it is a perfect place to look for a spring salmon . If your looking for an early springer this is the place to look...

Delvine & Burnbane Beat
The Burnbane Pool .There is a lovely quite edge right down this pool in big water an easy cast with a spinner. Or the fly in lower water .
Delvine & Burnbane Beat River Tay
The tail of Sparrowmuir on the Burnbane beat in biggish water, there has been quite a lot of fish showing in the bottom half of this pool evan today in the bigger water. The tail of this pool in the lower water looks very nice to cast a fly right in to the tail of the pool. The right bank on the bend also looks good in high water, we hope to clear that bank shortly so that it is fish able .
