Dunkeld House Beat River Tay

Looking upstream from the cutty stone on a rather crisp day . Roll on opening day !!

Dunkeld House Fishings

Looking down stream from the chestnut tree, this is all cracking spinning water all the way down here, right to the tail of the gauge pool. With this height of water it is worth a lot of attention it often produces quite a few Springers from the bank and boat ..

Dunkeld House Fishings

The mouse trap pool on the beat. This pool always holds fish, with the deep slow water its an ideal place for a few fish to hold up here..

The Lady Of The Stream

Here is a lovely picture of a grayling . Theses fish are often fished for during the cold months of the year and can offer some great sport.

Save Our Salmon

PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE - After the success of last years petition which attracted over 20,000 signatures and I am pleased to note that Scottish Government has now introduced a conservation measure from the 2015 season banning any killing of salmon before 1st April. However, due to what I feel to be a very positive political foundation and the horrendously poor season and continued decline, along with the Salmon and Trout Association [Scotland] we are to petition the Scottish Government once more to have this period extended to 1st July. Although a drastic measure and certainly not the route cause of the underlying decline, we are now in a position where we simply must protect those remaining fish which make it back to our shores.
I truly hope I can rely on your continuing support. It really is important, not only for the future of the salmon, but to all those 1000s of working guys around the UK and Europe who rely on their returning to our shores. Thank you in advance.
PLEASE, PLEASE take time to support this by simply following the link here - -
.
The petition will be wrapped up on the 26th of January.
