26lb Salmon Dalmarnock Beat

Here is Tom Westacott with his biggest ever salmon caught on the River Tay on the Dalmarnock beat in the Red Brae pool, What a cracker it was a strong fish that took about 20mins to get under control with 3ft on the gauge, We new it was another big fish just were'nt sure of its full size, Tom's fish took a 3inch pearly kynoch on the third pass of the boat just after lunch.

Tom's fish took a harled 3inch kynock in the stepps pool on the Dalmarnock beat on what would of been the last day of the season, now we have an extra two weeks to the season ???

This is the famous Endrick bank pike that was estimated to be around the 80lb mark, you never no what size of pike could be in some of those Loch's in scotlalnd like lomond and Loch Awe its always worth fishing on the heavy side just in case a big fish take's the bait ?

Here is Tom Westercott with a cracking 20lb salmon taken on a copper salmo while harling in sorbie, This was one of the best ever fight's I have ever seen from a salmon it took over 200yrds in the first run and took us 600yrds down the pool and after 30mins of a fight the salmon was finally in the net !!!!!
