Nice water here on the Kercock beat, lovely boulders in the stream an excellant place for salmon to hold up in low and big water its an ideal place to pay more attention to when fishing down the pool, I would love to have a cast with the fly over them just wait for a take and the screaming real ?????

Cracking pool !!!


The cracking Junction pool on the kinnard beat of the tay from the left bank, In this height of water its lovely to fish the fly down the pool, there is always fish holding in this pool just waiting to go up the river Tummel wich meets the tay here !!!!!

Fish on !!! here is a nice wee springer that i had a fight with the other day on the dalmarnock beat, the fish put up some fight for its size, the fish took a floating devon minnow in the summer house pool it was great sport !!!

Here is the cracking Bridge pool on Dalguise, its a great holding pool nice and deep for the fish to lie up in, I have seen some big fish in here late in the season and there is usually some big fish hooked most seasons, one last september wich they reckon was close to the 30lb mark ?

Juntion Pool



The fabulous Juntion pool on Kinnard on the river tay where the river Tummel and Tay meet an excellant place for fish to stop where two rivers meet. Here is a cracking Springer hooked on the fly at Kinnard on the river tay, It took a size 11 cascade and took 25 minutes to land, we estimated the springer to weight about the 22lb mark what a great fish to hook on your third day of salmon fishing by Mark Jones well done !!!!!!

Harling !!!!!


A days harling from the eyes of the gillie just waiting for the fly rod to scream away as we pull away from the bank ?.In the right conditions this can be a very productive method for catching salmon ?

Nice water !!!!



The neck of the Ash Tree pool on Kinnard beat just before dusk do I need to say any more !!!!!!

Guay pool



The Guay pool on lower Kinnard it is a delight to fish fly or with the spinner, towards the tail of the pool the flow starts to slacken of you just expect a strong take from a well rested salmon !!!!!!
On this occasion we were out for the wild brown trout on the river wich can be brillint sport on the fly in the right condition's ...

Cracking pool !!!


The Dungeon pool on the Krcock beat, deep water for the salmon to lie up in the lower water ideal to bounce a devon minnow through its depth's who now's what could be waiting to have a go at your lure ? ? ?

Nearly there



Almost in,the moment I realised the size of my Norway bar of silver, all 28lb of it what a take and what a fight,even better to see it returned to carry on there amazing journey !!!!!!
